Hi everyone, I just wanted to say that the family search pilot now has the Baja California Sur Catholic records 1750-1983 so it might help someone out there.

Thank you Daniel,
I was looking at the films for the Misón de Santa Gertrudis, Baja California
Sur on Friday at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah. Now I
can look at them from home! Thanks for the heads up!

Hi there. If anyone knows…I noticed that Tijuana and Ensenada are listed in the BC Sur records. Does anyone know if there is a separate index for BC Norte? I am specifically in need of Mexicali, BC Norte. I know that Mexicali was not incorporated until the 1902-1905, or so…but one of my branches was established there in the 1930’s.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Gracias!

Claudia,

the Family History Library, only has church records for Tijuana and Ensenada.
