Hi, Bill thanks do you have the last child’s baptismal date of Jacinta Ortega and Juan Fernandez Castro? I guess I dont have her, do you have this Jacinta’s death date? Do you have a clue or some lead of who might be my Jacinta de Ortega, you said she had the surname Ortega Estrada? How does How does Diaz de Anda Altamirano play with Balthazar, a Diaz had to marry a Anda Altamirano?

María Fernández de Castro was baptized 06 Jan 1681 in Aguascalientes.
Jacinta Macías (aka Jacinta de Ortega) died 16 Feb 1681 from complications
after giving birth to her daughter.
The parents of Joseph Díaz de Anda Altamirano were Balthazar Díaz de Anda
Altamirano and Beatriz de Tiscareño. Balthazar Díaz de Anda Altamirano was
the son of Balthazar Díaz and María de Anda Altamirano. That’s where the
compounded surname comes from. I haven’t found who the parents of Jacinta
de Ortega were, but when I find out I’ll let you know.
Hope this settles it, Daniel. I just don’t have any more time available and
have to get to my other projects.

Do you have the parents of Balthazar and Maria Anda? Or is this where it ends, I figuere Maria would be the daughter of the Captain Pedro? Ive always wondered if Balthazar Diaz is related to the other Diaz, like Diaz de Lomas. -Daniel
I was able to conclude the Jose Diaz de Anda (mine) and the Jose Diaz Tiscareno who was in danger of dying and recieved the special baptism are the same. Havent been able to find other kids for Balthazar and Beatriz. As for Jacinta, since I have more time for Aguas films, Ill look for a couple Estrada and Ortega. Its still possible that Jacinta could be another granddaughter of the Macias Ortega given the time span. Thanks for your help. -Daniel
