To my “privileged” Prima Josie,

Received your Swiss choc hug, will be there another couple of weeks – or so. Well, exxxcccussseeemmme!

I, too, am frustrated with this equally elusive couple that I know for a fact were in Revilla in 1738, even though that is about 9 or 10 years before the villa was “founded” in 1750. I wish i knew where they came from, as they did not come with Vicente Guerra.

Please, please, continue to have fun!!!

Hi!

Juanita, I am still in Switzerland…..just returned from Italy yesterday
and will be here another couple of weeks or so. When I get back home to San
Antonio I will check what I have for Revilla. I am anxious to get back to
my research…..You and I will definitely get together when I return, ok?
As far as my Zacatecas research goes…..I am STILL looking for my elusive
Juan Antonio Liendo and his wife Catalina de la Rosa…..I am also desperate
with this couple! A “Swiss Chocolate hug” to all my Nuestros Ranchos
amigos!

Josie from San Antonio (TX)

Charles,

Many thanks for your prompt reply! Will just have to perservere.

Of all the people that communicate via the ranchos site I have only met
one person (Josie)
that had connections with the people that came with the De Escandon
colonizer, and we matched! There are many people looking for missing kin
that moved West, California, New Mexico, etc., but almost none for people
that came to NE MEXICO.

I am looking for the parents of JOSEPH MARIA TAMAYO Y LUNA, born in
REVILLA, TAMPS,. in 1738, which was long before REVILLA was “founded” in
1750. He died there also, in 1798. I have all the censuses from Revilla up
to 1881, but they are not in any of them. I found JOSEPH MARIA, in his older
age, and I found record of his death in the
Corpus Christ, Texas, reseach library, but not his parents.

I am really desperate! Thanks for listening.

Juanita
