Banuelos from San Gabriel Valley Families of Nueva Galicia

Hi Joseph

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you on the Banuelos question. These Banuelos start in the late 1700’s and it’s only a small portion in the Colotlan area. I know your cousin Andy was working on this line a few years ago. These are my cousin, Dave’s line….the same primo that is related to you through the Tafoya’s and Maldonado’s. Dave and I are related 10+ times in Nueva Galicia. It’s amazing how just finding one ancestral line into the Romo de Vivars, Tiscarenos, Lomelins, Ruiz de Esparza’s, Rubalcava’s….etc and one becomes related many times over with someone else. It’s mind-boggling at times.
