Armando,

In all my years looking at films, I have never seen one like 644362. It has everything but the kitchen sink in there, and groups of records are completely out of order throughout.

Armando,

In all my years looking at films, I have never seen one like 644362. It has everything but the kitchen sink in there, and groups of records are completely out of order throughout.

The film has bautismos (and I saw many that said “espanola de la Villa”) for both espanoles and others, and the “casamientos” appear all throughout. I found one page for 1618, but it was for Noviembre, never found the one for Junio. Maybe some day I will go through the film one image at a time (I only spot checked it every 10 pages or so), but right now my husband wants his tamale pie.

Thanks for your help,

Emilie

Emilie,

The records for Lagos de Moreno and Aguascalientes for the same time period
have a similar pattern. See films 221879, 221404, 221504, and 221504 There
actually is an order to them you just have to find where certain records
begin and end and where they start again. The bautismos end and the
casamientos begin on 71. Then other records start on 241 again. The record
you were looking for is on page 72.

En 11 de junio de 1618 case y vele a Juan de Villalpando y a Francisca de la
Rocha fueron los padrinos Martin Veloso y Anna Perez.

Armando,

Bless you. I was about to continue looking for the image, but you found it for me.

Thank you so much. I guess what I need to do in future is print out the range of dates for each parish and make notes of what is actually in each film.

Thank you for your perseverance.
