I just wanted to say how happy I am for Esther and Welester to have
found each other after all these centuries. Imagine that, for a few
hundred years ago two families that lived with each other and knew each
other somehow got lost from each other. Then two people come along:
Esther and Welester and by diligent study discover each other are
cousins. And in a group that is focuses on Jalisco, Zacatecas, and/or
Aguascalientes. Welester your gut feeling that your Zaldivar’s came from
Zacatecas even though in my mind was a long shot paid off in that Esther
was able to make the connection and re-establish a blood line that had
been lost to each other for such a long time.

Don’t worry about me everyone of the old timers in the group know that I
go off on one of these Joyful Celebrations of families that have found
each other every time connections are made within the group.

Congratulations and hopefully John Robles will bring his band to the
party and some others can cook up a big pot of Menudo and let the fiesta
begin. It is time to celebrate! ! !

what a wonderful Christmas present you two have given each other and
your families including us in the Nuestros Ranchos group.

hohoho,

joseph

I’m so glad for you. Talking about people outside the group. Yesterday I
activated the account of Gregorio Martinez (he hasn’t replied to the
three confirmation emails yet so he won’t be getting this) whose only
work is in Nuevo Leon, a genealogist friend of Welester. He has a very
strong gut feeling that his ancestors also come from the Zacatecas area.
As I told Welester we’ll revisit the membership requirements in a year
to see how much progress has be made in establishing a connection, so
like wise I told him.

Welester when you and Esther have a chance (maybe not until after the
first of the year) send me in an email or genealogy report your
connection to Zacatecas I guess from your Grandparents to your Zacatecas
ancestors. I’ll make up a private (for group members only) folder for
you in the Files/Members Genealogies/”Alvarado, Welester” area of the
group. it can be simple grandparents–>great grandparents–> etc. (with
locations and dates on each)

John you are a lifetime member. Here are the circumstances that I would
unsubscribe you:

1) you asked to be unsubscribed
2) you became argumentative and disrupted the harmony of the group
3) dag-gone near everyone in group up and sent me an email asking me to
unsubscribe you. (you never know)
4) some other weird set of circumstances that I haven’t thought about
but absolutely compelled me to unsubscribe you.
5) you decided to give up playing the harp

Merry Christmas,

joseph

ps: there were three confirmation emails and you did reply to all three
because you are currently subscribed to all three lists.
