How does one go about requesting records from a church in Mexico & how does one go about finding someone when some of the records are damaged?

How does one go about requesting records from a church in Mexico & how does one go about finding someone when some of the records are damaged?

I have searched through records (films) available from the FHC but some of these are so bad it’s hard to make heads or tails of them. Even the civil registrations don’t always fair well either.

I appreciate any help or suggestions.
