Does anyone know where I can get a book or a biographies on the following conquistadores who served with Hernando Cortez. They recieved Coat of Arms on the battlefield. Conquistador Juan del Camino or Diego del Camino both were relatives.

Check your special collections or Spanish/Mexican history section of your public library.
example “The Conquistadors” by Jean Descola translated by Malcolm Barnes
New York A.M. Kelley 1970 (c. 1952) Also the heraldry sections depending how extensive your library is will help. Then there are your university libraries that some libraries can borrow from. happy hunting. mari

I found the following source cited on someone’s website titled, “The Geneology of Mexico ( http://members.tripod.com/~GaryFelix/index1.htm) .” You might want to check it out. 😉

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Source of the above names: Duaine, Carl Laurence. “With All Arms A Study of a Kindred Group”
* Additional Source: Himmerich Y Valencia, Robert. “The Encomenderos of New Spain 1521-1555”
* Additional Source: Thomas, Hugh. “Who’s Who of the Conquistadors”
They are not listed in either the Himmerich book or the Duaine book.
