I’m wondering if anyone has any information about Urbano Contreras and/or Josefa Velasco? Both were born around 1680-1690. I have found evidence that they or their descendants lived in southern Zacatecas and possibly in Guanajuato and Jalisco. It’s possible that there are several couples with the same names around this time, but I believe that the same family moved around a lot.

Below is the baptism for one of their children, but I haven’t found other online records for them in Monterey.
