This marriage for Justa Resendes is in queretaro way off from Guanajuato so I don’t think these are them…I go with the others Deciderio and Cecilia.

Maria, did you know there are two marriages of Tinajeros named (of all coincidences) Andres and Jose Deciderio in Ciudad del Maiz, San Luis Potosi in 1816?

Could one of these be Andres father because Andres first child was born in 1841 right ….he could have married when he was say 20 so that would put him born around 1820 or so….this Andres Martin Tinajero was married in 1816 and Jose Deciderion Tianjero married in 1816 also so that puts these two guys born around say 1796.

Let me check on these two guys.

ANDRES MARTIN TINAJERO – International Genealogical Index / ME
Gender: Male Marriage: 02 DEC 1816 Purisima Concepcion, Ciudad Del Maiz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico

JOSE DECIDERIO TINAJERO – International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Marriage: 13 MAR 1816 Purisima Concepcion, Ciudad Del Maiz, San Luis Potosi, Mexico

Deciderio also had a daughter named Esiquia who married Crecencio
Salas. They had a child in San Jose, Ojuelos, Jalisco born the 11 APR 1866
Christened 14 APR 1866 Film 639963 Batch C606071 Deciderio Tinajera and
Cecilia Alonzo show up as the Abuelos Maternos (Maternal Grand Parents).

Deciderio has another daughter named: Maria Prudenciana Christened on 1
June, 1848 in San Isidro De Ocaqmpo, Guanajuato and born on 19 May 1848,
film 646896 page 140 the Padrinos are: Andres Tinagera and Maximiana Huerta
(Notice the Padrinos). Often siblings are the Padrinos.

I also found a record in a database that had the Christening for a Ma.
Hesiquia Tinagero Murillo that was Christened on 22 November 1846, in San
Isidro De Ocampo, Guanajuato, Mexico, film 646895, Batch C606822. The father
was listed as Deciderio Tinagero and Cecilia Murillo this might be the
Esiquia mentioned in the first paragraph (maybe).

Oh and the marriage did not yield any additional information not even the
ages of the bride and groom. There are films on the Información Matrimonial
(marital investigation) for the years when your ancestors where married. I
would definitely look at those also when you get a chance.

One thing that the records I saw did have in common is that they mentioned a
place: del Corredor and Rancho del Corredor or Comedor (hard to read).

One last thing, all of the records indicate the children are hijos legitimos
or hijas legitimas which increases the chances that there is a marriage
record somewhere.

Well good luck,
Saludos desde Lago Salado,

No, as Arturo suggested you are going to need to find a record that lists
them. Look at the Información Matrimonial for each of the children as well
as the marriage records and christening records, each record might yield
additional clues. If all fails with Deciderio, look at his possible sibling
Andres find out all about his family and himself. Chances are that if he is
proven to be a sibling, Deciderio was probably born in the same town as him
and of course the same parents.

When looking at the marriages, christenings, marital information remember to
look for hints as to when people are deceased. You could start looking at
the death records prior to that time for the people that passed away.

good luck!
