I was just curious as to the purpose of uploading/sharing family pictures/images. Is this something that could additionally help in the genealogy research or just a means of archiving photos digitally here in the Nuestros Ranchos Forums?

(I have many old family photos as far back as the turn of the 19th century & I am debating whether ot not to go through the trouble of uploading them.)

Tenía curiosidad acerca de compartir fotos/imágenes de la familia. ¿Es esto algo que además podría ayudar en la investigación de la genealogía o simplemente un medio de archivar las fotos digitales aquí en los Nuestros Ranchos foros?

(Tengo muchas fotos familiares antiguas se remontan a finales del siglo 19 y estoy pensando si compartirlos aqui es necesario)
