First picture is a hut in Huejuquilla El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico.
Second picture is a hut with similar design in Galicia, Spain

Note that the state of Jalisco in Mexico’s old name is “Nueva Galicia” New Galicia.

But could that type of dwelling in Huejuquilla get its origins from the Europe settlers from Spain that came to Huejuquilla back during the time of the Spanish?
