Entierros (Burials) Huejuquilla El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico Year 1719 – 1761

I was browsing through the microfilm of entierros de Huejuquilla, Jalisco, Mexico for the years 1719 – 1761. I found something interesting if any of you can help me decipher it.


I was browsing through the microfilm of entierros de Huejuquilla, Jalisco, Mexico for the years 1719 – 1761. I found something interesting if any of you can help me decipher it.

This paragraph is from the entierros and it mentions starts out by talking about the Pueblo of San Diego De Huejuquilla year 1728. San Diego is not the pueblo. It is the name of the parish of the pueblo of Huejuquilla. Also it makes references to Mexico (Mexico in the year 1728), and also about provinces of Nayarit, Coahuila, Californias and Thexas (Texas) Del Consejo. Texas mentioned in the year 1728.

In our village of Huejuquilla, the original building of the Parish of San Diego still stands. The newer building was built in another location of the town.
