Is anyone else having difficulty getting onto Familysearch.com? For the past 2 days I get a blank white page when I try to download. Also the search page won’t search. Am I doing something wrong?

Not getting any blank pages, but some pages were not coming into focus.
Try closing the Tab and opening a new one.
I have noticed more difficulties when I forget to sign in.

I tried 20 ways with no luck. I called and spoke to the wonderful people at Family Search and they said they are having problems and are working to correct whatever is causing this. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon!

Just an update: Family Search very kindly sent me an Email stating they were still working to correct the issues on their website; but in the meantime I should use Firefox to log onto the site. I had to download Firefox; but I am now able to get onto the Family Search website.

I was going to reply saying that I have not been having any trouble with FS, in fact it’s been helping me quiet a bit lately, but then I use Firefox. =)

I actually alternate browsers between Firefox and Safari.

Hope the issues get fixed for you all.

I have been trying to access the FS website for 2-3 days. I get in but the minute I try to search, I get an error message and must try again. In fact, I have tried three times today and cannot do any search at all. What is going on? I could see a slight interruption of services but 2-3 days??? Oh well, I’ll keep trying—so, it isn’t just you.

I’ve found when this happens odds are they are adding records. I can’t keep the record online either..

Do you use the Mozilla Firefox browser, that seems to work for most people. That’s what I use and it works fine. If you don’t, you may want to install it as your browser.

I have Mozilla Firefox and I still have problems accessing and searching on the
FS website. I was able to get in and do some searches for a while but then I
get the error messages. Perhaps, too many on the accessing the site at once????
