Hello Pat,
Thanks to your informational site, I believe what I need from familytree DNA is the YDNA 37 -mt DNA Plus.  It goes for 299.00, however, if you participate in one of their projects, you’re given a slight discount for 269.00.  I assume you receive the same info for 269. as for 299.
If anyone has done this, it would be great to read about your level of satisfaction.  Thanks so much.  Alice

Hi Alice,

The information received, whether you pay $299.00 or $269.00 would be the same as outlined in the informational description for that test combination. The discount is being offered when participating in one of the Projects.

All the FamilyTree DNA testing done for my family over the years has been to my satisfaction. Their service representatives have always been very helpful.

I will continue to use FamilyTree DNA in the future for any additional testing.
