I have been in search of my Grandmother’s birth certificate. She was born in Guadalajara around 1934-1938, or so she thinks. Her mother died in Guadalajara in 1937 and left her an orphan to fend for herself and she was never ever able to find out her real birth date. I am pretty certain she was registered, it was pretty important to her family, every woman has been registered. I have located birth certificates since 1862 in the civil registries of Zapotlan del Rey where her family was originally located. The question is, does anyone know if there is a database i’m missing where I can look through the images for Guadalajara. I can’t request is through the Gobierno website because I do not have an exact date.
