I have decided that i want to help index dispensas records.I sent a message to the Guadalajara Dispensas email but they have not replied and it’s been a week already.I also want to help index baptisms and marriage records for Nochistlan from the years 1900 and up ,but I have no clue where to go.Can someone please help me and show me a direction to get me started in indexing?
You have bad luck in that most of your posts aren’t emailed to the group. It’s because of a glitch with the server that still hasn’t been corrected.
I am surprised Claudia never got back with you on indexing dispensas.
I don’t think there is a project for indexing documents post 1900 for Nochistlán. Joseph Puentes might know.
You can go to https://www.familysearch.org/volunteer/indexing to see if there is a project you are interested in.
To reiterate, I think an index of the Información Matrimonial records of Nochistlán would be very helpful to a lot of people.

you know you can index a collection from the guadalajara dispensas that hasn’t been indexed yet(at least most of it, even if you can’t decipher every single name), and submit it to her. she will most likely reply within a week(or less if you’re lucky).

You could start indexing these as Katy said. Try and be as accurate as possible with the names and location. Adding the names of the parents is especially helpful to people as well as the page number that the genealogical information is located and if possible the surname that they share.
