Huejucar is a twon in Jalisco, not in Zacatecas, is near to Colotlan and Jerez.
Yes Huejucar and Guejucar is the same place. It is a valley where Calvillo, Ojocaliente and Huanusco make up. This is an area of expertise for me. My mother’s family was primarily from Calvillo (Huejucar), Aguascalientes and Mexico City.
Huejucar and the Valle de Huejucar are two different places. The city of Huejucar, like you said is in Jalisco, while the valley of Huejucar is present-day Calvillo-Huanusco.
