Regarding Hacienda San Mateo, that was owned by the Conde back in the 1700’s. And in a Valparaiso website called, portalvalparaiso dot com. There was a nice video with narration of all the Haciendas in the area.

And they describe about the Conde of Hacienda San Mateo. In the video it said that he owned several “Haciendas Del Campo.” and his favorite was “Hacienda San Mateo.”

He also owned several mines. Now my question is, do his descendants own the mines?
