Hi – I’m sure many of us do. On my mom’s side from Ayo El Chico, and Aguascalientes I did find some parish records where “Indio” and “mulatto” were used to describe several of my ancestors as I went further back in time. One ancestor was described as ‘mulatto libre’.
I understand that there is information out there which maps DNA to tribes in Mexico but I haven’t had time to look that information up. I hope to do some more research on that because I can use it in my future studies at school (CSULB).
