have been researching my genealogy and found that my Lozano lineage goes
back to Rio Chico, in Jalisco. The earliest document I have is for the
Christening of Juana Maria Lozano Diaz on 17 Sep 1752. She was Christened
in Teocaltiche and was born in Rio Chico. The posting of zacatecano020
details the naming of Rio Chico in the late 1600’s from the Estancia De
Esteban Angon”. My question is, “when did the Lozano family become
associated with Rio Chico?” I am also curious to know if there was any
contact between the Angon family and the Lozano family.
