I’ve been working in my family history for 3 years now but mainly in Yucatán and Galicia from where my father’s family came from.

I’m new to nuestros ranchos so I hope I am writing to the correct address and in the correct language (if I’m not I apologize).

I’ve been working in my family history for 3 years now but mainly in Yucatán and Galicia from where my father’s family came from.
Now I’ve started researching my mother’s and my wife’s side.

My wife is from Guadalajara and her family came from Atotonilco el Alto, Ayotlán, Mesa del Pino and nearby towns and rancherias, the surnames I’m researching are:
Gutierrez
Flores
Alvarez
Lopez
Ramirez
Rodriguez
Solorio
Villalpando

Besides, from my mother’s side, my great grandfather Rafael Robles Montenegro (it seems it was a compounded surname) was “natural” of Guadalajara (other sources say that from Ameca), married to Cipriana Montes de Oca.

Even though I’m still starting with my Nueva Galicia’s lines I hope I will be of some help to you all.
