I found this document of defunto on how Lazaro Madera passed away caused by a strike from lightening. It’s common in our village that people out on their ranches get hit by lightening. Even to this day!

Who is Lazaro Madera? He is the father of Marcelo Madera (approx. 1774) who was listed as owner of Rancho De Los Maderas in a census of 1828 and here is the first page:

Benito Madera and Maria Estanislao Munoz are the parents of Maria Clemencia Madera who is the wife of my great grandfather Calixto Madera
