Looking for any information on Albino Lopez or Antonia Fernandez family in a small village called Labatos in state of Zacatecas Mexico. Her mother’s name was Maximina Fernandez (married name).
Looking for any information on Albino Lopez or Antonia Fernandez family in a small village called Labatos in state of Zacatecas Mexico. Her mother’s name was Maximina Fernandez (married name). Antonia had an aunt Jesusita Fernandez who was blind. Antonia came to Texas around 1920 but her family remains in Labatos. Are there any archives or church records for that area one can access??
A couple of suggestions:
-The closest “large” village is Valparaiso. The church records may be there. These are online at Family Search.
-The 1930 Census is online (also Family Search), and the Lobatos listings are associated with Valparaiso.
