I haven’t been stumped in a while but I’ve come across an ancestor whose name I can’t quite figure out. I’m hoping someone can see what I cant. I’m trying to figure out what the second name is on the top right hand record of this page (Maria ? del Refugio de Abila). Any help would be appreciated.

It is Maria Eustaguia (Eustaquia)del Refugio de Avila. She’s related to me through her mother.

Thank you so much Rosalinda. I am also related to her through her mother. My main research right now is through my grandfather (Valdez) on my mom’s side. Happy to compare notes whenever possible. I’m still stumped on my 5X Gr Grandfather but have quite a bit more research.

one of my ancestors, maria de la torre, had a sister named andrea de la torre. andrea de la torre married bartolome del muro.
i want to see if teresa del muro is a descendant of bartolome del muro and his wife andrea de la torre or not. i know who bartolome’s parents are, and i know that he has a sister named josefa del muro.
i’ll see about emailing you later. im going to try to find out who are teresa’s parents first.

Yes, Maria’s father was Dn Bernardo de Avila and her mother was Dna Maria Jesus Valdes
