My 7th GG Great Grandmother is “Maria De La Candelaria Angon (1655 – 1735). She was the wife of my 7th GG Great Father Antonio Madera (1660 – 1709?) where they resided in Minillas of Mezquitic, Jalisco, Mexico.

But in 1685 in a rancho that was of Joan De Angon 1632 then handed down to Esteban Angon which became an Estancia Rio Chico. There was a Cofradia De La Purisma Concepcion there in that rancho/estancia and it is located near Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico.

By 1685 there she is listed as “Teniente De Arenal”

I had done some research on the styles of clothing and I would imagine her to look similar to how the muskateers dressed with the large hats. Sombrerte, Zacatecas, Mexico was said to been named from Damas with large hats.
