Hello,

I’m researching my family tree in Leon, Guanajuato. I’m trying to find the name of the town that my ancestor, Jose Epifanio Monjaras, was born in. In the attached Baptism record, the town looks like it says Caraeol, but I’m not having any luck finding that town or anything similar. The Baptism was in Leon, so the town must be near. Parents names are Juan Monjaras and Andrea Ramires. See attached image.
