I am having some trouble trying to pin-point where my great-grandfather, Tranquilino Rangel, on my mother’s side is from. On his WWI Draft Registration Card, it states that he was born on Sept., 6, 1891 in Alida, Mexico.
When I try different search engines, there are no results. But when I use the Ancestry.com map it shows a very rural section of Zacatecas.

Is anyone familiar with this area of the Zacatecas ?
