Hi Everyone, My name is Alexandra Piedad Ramos Soto and I’ve been researching my family history on and off (had a son which took a lot of my time)for about 7 years. I’ve been able to find a lot of info on the Ramos line in Calvillo, Aguascalientes, but I’ve hit a wall with the maternal line of Soto Salazar. My grandmother is Sixta Salazar Reza, born about 1908 in El Cuidado, Zacatecas. Daughter of Dario Salazar and Braulia de Reza and married to J. Ines Soto Alvarado, born abt 1901 in El Tigre (ranch near Villanueva)Zacatecas, son of Pantaleon Soto and Juana Alvarado. My grandparents resided in Ex-Hacienda de Buenavista and could have been married nearby at Tepetongo or Jerez. As for my g-grandparents, I believe they were also from Zacatecas but I don’t know which town or ranch. I haven’t been able to find anything else about them yet. Hopefully you can give me some tips as where to search. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
