As someone new to geneology I wish to thank all who have contributed to my education at Nuestros Ranchos. I have been very successful in searching lines throughout Jalisco. Now the problem is that the records I need are not available (Don’t go back far enough) and are missing. My question is if, for example, baptism records begin for a particular church in 1775, is that when the church first began baptisms and earlier records do not exist? If particular dates are missing (Ten year)does that mean they do not exist? or they were just not posted?
I have searched FamilySearch library and these records are not available to order.
Are their other resources? Is there some list of when particular churches were founded? Thank you for your help. Deedra Corona
