Jose Luis Vazquez y Rodriguez de Frias in his book “Genealogia de Nochistlan Antiguio Reino de la Nueva Galicia …” provided an extract of the dispensation for Bartholome Rodrigues Baxo and his second wife, Rosa de Ulloa, in 1703.

This document is important because it mentions Petronila de Moctezuma and Martin Navarro. Both of Bartholome’s wives descend from this couple, the details of which are in the dispensation.

Now, thanks to the work of Claudia Reynoso, Enrique Agraz, and (especially) Jaime Alvarado we now have direct access to it!

The dispenation is in the Diocese of Guadalajara Matrimonios 1700/1705, and begins at image 316.
