are of San Juan de los Lagos Jal. born about 1889. His parents were Simon

Hello. My name is Maria Huerta. I have been researching my family for a few years now of and on. My family comes from a little ranchito in the hills of Zacatecas, from Cosalima, Tabasco, Zacatecas to be exact. The names I am focusing on at the moment are Huerta, Medina (my father and mother), Avila and Muñoz (my grandmothers).
I have been able to trace the Huerta line back pretty far to around the early 1820’s and thats where I hit a dead end, but 5 generations isn’t bad.

I am not having the same luck with the others though. For Medina I only have 2 generations, for Avila I have 2 or 3 (I have some fact checking to do with my aunt) and for Muñoz I have 4. Luckly my great-grandmother on the Muñoz side and my great-grandmother on the Huerta side were sisters, so alot of it is replicated. And yes that means I am related to my self. (eeeww)

Los apellidos que estoy investigando son Huerta, Medina (mi padre y madre), Avila y Muñoz (mis abuelas). He podido trazar la línea de Huerta bastante, a alrededor de los años de 1820. Ayi me quede, pero 5 generaciones no son malas.

No he tenido la misma suerte con los otros. Para Medina sólo tengo 2 generaciones, para Avila tengo 2 o 3 (tengo algunos datos que verifica con mi tía) y para Muñoz tengo 4. Suerte que mi bisabuela en el lado de Muñoz y mi bisabuela en el lado de Huerta fueron hermanas, de modo que mucha información es replicada. Y sí esto significa que soy pariente de mi misma. (eeeww)

Hola! My name is Maria Del Pilar Felix but everyone calls me Pilar. I am new to this site and I am very happy to be able to work in my geneology.
Now I am focusing in Aguascalientes, looking for my husband’s greatgreatgrandparents. I am looking for Cesario Salas parents, so far I had that his dad was Rufino Salas and his mother was Manuela Delgado or Verado. I found a film from Calvillo, Aguascalientes (LDS Church 635766) from Cesario’s marriage in Jul. 03, 1833 that has his parets names and also his wife name and her family, but from here I don’t know where to look. If anyone can help me and let me know where can I search.Thank you, Pilar

Hello Pilar, I am Daniel Mendez del Camino, I also have many many ancestors
from Calvillo, your husband might be related to me through Cesario’s Wife;
Maria de velasco. As I have seen it now in Calvillo all the Velascos share a
common ancestor in that region and I think its Francisco de Velasco but not
sure. Anyway I am currently viewing the film that you need so if you want I
can look at it and even find more generations. I can possibly help you get
the Salas and Velasco lines to at least 1750 or so. I hope I can help.

Hello, Pillar,

I read with interest that there are DELGADOS in your family. The DELGADOS in my research were in TAMAULIPAS by the 1800’s, but I am sure not all members of one family came to NUEVO SANTANDER, and they surely left lots of relatives where they came from.
If you know more about MANUELA DELGADO and her family I would like to hear from you.

Hola Juanita,
The only thing that I have of Manuel Delgado is that she was married to
Rufino Salas they are the parents of Cesario Salas. I found the kids from
Cesario in the film FHL 635766 1830-1839 batch J602676 for exe: Paulina de
la Luz Salas. Through her Christening record Jun. 23, 1834 in Calvillo,
Aguascalientes and her brother Lucas del Refugio Salas in 18 Oct. 1836. I
am trying to find Manuela’s marriage date with Rufino Salas. I don’t know if
she is from the same region that her son Cesario Salas if from (Villa de
Calvillo, Aguascalientes, México)

Hola Daniel,
I am hoping that someone can help me. The only thing I know is that she got
married to Cesario Salas, on 03 Jul 1833 in Vicaria de Ojo Calente y
Mineral, Aguascalientes, México, she was 16 at the time. Therefore, she was
born about 1818. Her parents were Luis Velasco & Maria Saturnina Macias.
They had about 8 kids, their names are: Maria Gerarda (christening-date 10
Oct. 1803), Jose Eugenio (christening-27 Nov 1805), Maria
Josefa(christening-29 Nov. 1807), Jose Eugenio(christening-25 Mar.1810),
Jose Casimiro(birthday-2 Mar 1813), Maria Claudia Jesus(birthday 07 Jul.
1815), Maria San Jose de la Cruz(christening-26 Nov.1817), and Maria de
Jesus Velasco Macias about 1818. One of her brothers, Jose Eugenio(the 2nd
one) his christening was in Nochistlan, Zacatecas and the others in
Calvillo, Aguascalientes. I could not find the christening or the birthday
records of Maria de Jesus Velasco.
