He said his father’s name was Margarito Perales and mother was Tranquilina Sanchez from Guanajuanto.? I would get in the internet. Search the Mormon church in these matters. Usually their records are acurate.

Have you tried ancestry.com and looked for Sanchez Perales’s border crossing? Sometimes if you are lucky it lists the exact address in Mexico. If there is a library nearby with a genealogy center then they may have ancestry.com free of charge. Some of the LDS history centers also have ancestry.com. You need to have a more specific area, so you are not searching all over the entire state. I could not find Sanchez, Margarito or Tranguilina in familysearch and I did a search of the LDS library catalog for Guanajuanto and did not come up with anything either. Is Guanajuanto the correct spelling?

it up on the following site:

This database contains names of ranchos from all places in Mexico. Hope this
