I read your post of August 5, where you introduced yourself and listed among your ancestors the Rincon family from Zacatecas.

I am trying to trace a Rincon family line from Zacatecas for a friend of mine.

My friend’s great-grandmother was Higinia Rincon, born January 24, 1877. I don’t know where in Zacatecas she was born, but most of her siblings were born in Jerez, and one in Montecillo. Higinia’s parents were Matias Rincon and Nicolasa Gomez. Higinia’s siblings were Paulina, Maxima, Francisca, Tiburcia, and Ascencion.

Matias Rincon’s parents were Jose Maria Rincon and Maria Ysidora Hernandez.

Jose Maria’s parents were Antonio Rincon and Josefa Dorado.

Are any of these Rincons in your family trees?
