where(what city(ies)) did they get married at prior to 1816?
I looked in the catalog for the FHL library, and there are no films for marriages prior to 1816; the matrimonial investigations start somewhat later.
Baptisms exist from the mid-1700s.
The 1816 volume of marriages is inscribed “Libro 1” which suggests marriages were not recorded locally, or were not recorded separately from other records. Have you checked in the volumes for baptisms?
Otherwise, these marriages may be recorded in a nearby community.

ok i’ll probably look for some in other nearby municupalilties.
also after looking through some tepetongo records, i found a few of them in the Bautismos 1750-1770, 1775-1780, 1786-1808, 1812-1817. they can be found between pages 138-144
