Greeting everyone:

Need the group’s help,need to look up some baptismal records. From a clue from marriage info. record from Cienega de Mata Jalisco. Statement is as follows. “Es originaria de Xaral jurisdicion de San Luis potosi” Do not know where in San Luis to start looking. I have tried two or three Parishes with no luck for such place. Looking for Jose Henrique Aguilar and Heduvije Ysquierdo and Francisco Ybarra married to Maria Benancia de la Trinidad Munis Hernandes. Both these families moved in the early 1820,s to Cienega de Mata Jalisco. Any help would be greatly appreciated

This location may actually be El Jaral (today). Try looking in Mexquitic del Carmona, which is near San Luis Potosi.

Yes or Santa Maria del Rio and Villa de Reyes. an old 1809 map shows El Jaral close to these locations.
