I just wanted to express to the whole group what a great time I had in Salt Lake City this past weekend. More than the conference itself, getting to meet Mickey, Josie, Lydia and Ulla and getting to see Kitty and Rich again made the trip a great experience.

I just wanted to express to the whole group what a great time I had in Salt Lake City this past weekend. More than the conference itself, getting to meet Mickey, Josie, Lydia and Ulla and getting to see Kitty and Rich again made the trip a great experience.

I think we all learned quite a bit, and while I didn’t get too much research in, I did find a couple of treasures that I will share shortly with the group. We also got to do a lot of networking and promotion of our group. I am hoping we get a few more serious genealogists joining in the next couple of weeks. I met a few people with roots in our area who already have very large genealogies compiled that they are willing to share.

Joseph, I am sorry, but none of us could get the equipment necessary to record George Ryskamp. He actually asked why we were not recording him so he was more than amenable to it. I am sure there will be other opportunities to record his presentation. He and Peggy send you greetings.
