My research is starting by centering in the Cienega de Mata and Ojuelos de Jalisco area and probably Aguascalientes as well, looking for Durán and Muñoz surnames, I’m still new to this. Before finding “Nuestros Ranchos,” I began my search after finding a written copy of my grandfather’s birth record dated July 1877, at “Hacienda Cienega de Mata. Recently found grandfather’s parents marriage cert. from May 1868, Ledesma Ojuelos de Jalisco on My Heritage site. Can’t find much else in this areaof Jalisco thus far, don’t want to encroach on anyone’s research, but can anyone point me where/which direction to go from here?
