Senor del Camino:
The name of your ancestor, Juan del Camino, does appear on one roster of Nuno de Guzman’s expedition. He is listed as being from Montanes and his wife was Magdalena Alvarado.

The name of your ancestor, Juan del Camino, does appear on one roster of Nuno de Guzman’s expedition. He is listed as being from Montanes and his wife was Magdalena Alvarado. I also looked up the name in my copies of INDICE BIOGRAFICO DE CUARENTA MIL POBLADORES DE AMERICA, TOMAS I AND II, and THE ENCOMENDEROS OF NEW SPAIN 1521-1555, but could not find it.
