Always be inquisitive when told, “No son los mismos.” I heard this when I began researching my three Gutierrez lines in Jalostotitlan & San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco.

Always be inquisitive when told, “No son los mismos.” I heard this when I began researching my three Gutierrez lines in Jalostotitlan & San Juan de los Lagos, Jalisco. I tied them all back to the same ancestor. My father told me the same thing when I began researching my Gomez line (same area), and kept running into others. I tied those in too. Now I’m researching my cousin’s 2 Romo lines: one from Jalostotitlan (which I share as well) and the other which is suppose to be from San Luis Potosi–what a surprise, I’m researching his line to Encarnacion de Diaz, Jalisco which is a stone’s throw from Jalostotitlan. We’ll see…
I have found interesting facts by not giving up or taking others research as fact: documentation, documentation…
