You were right about the review of Guerrero – I certainly didn’t know about
his indigenous/African background.

I will be going to a “Cultural Tour” in Monterrey within one week as a
representative of our school district in Illinois The Chicago Mexican American
Fine Arts Museum will be taking their exhibit to the Museum in Monterrey. They
will be featuring the African presence in Mexico. I am excited about
bringing back lessons and photos that will highlight the African presence in Mexico
– there is very little known about this within our Mexican history — If I
can, I will share whatever was shared with me with this group.
